The neighbors, a mad scientist and a defecting Agent, make Wallace quite the compelling offer: they can either kill him now, or he can keep his mouth shut and tag along on their temporal escape. Wallace finds himself desperately trying to outrun Them while discovering that all of history seems short of crevices to hide in. As long as there has been society,They have been here. Maybe even before.

A group of such inconsiderate societal bloodsuckers scramble on the city outskirts to heist some veneer for themselves, and maybe go even further than that.
